NEWS FROM THE CHAPLAINCY COUNCIL               At last week’s meeting, the Council considered at length a proposal to make “outreach” the Chaplaincy’s main objective for the coming year; it decided to consult the congregation as a whole before committing itself formally  to this idea. As a way of upgrading our website, the Council decided to subscribe to a content management system specially adapted to the needs of churches. The Council also looked at dates of main events in the Chaplaincy calendar for the autumn. Finally, Catherine Montgomery informed the Council that she was reluctantly obliged to resign (after many years service) as co-Treasurer due to pressure of work.
