Reading matter

Category: Announcements. Posted by Tagora on 12 November 2007

A bargain-hunt in Cambridge turned up some new books for the Tagora collection, both scripts and technical material.

Titles include: Listen to this. Twenty-one short plays and sketches, by Michael Frayn; Blue Heart, by Caryl Churchill (two plays, Heart’s Desire and Blue Kettle); Directing Amateur Theatre, by Helen E. Sharman; and The Stage Lighting Handbook, by Francis Reid.

They will be making their way on to the Tagora library shelves in due course, when I have had time to peruse them. In the meantime, please ask me if you’d like to have a look.

Our library, constructed around a generous donation of books from Louis Fantasia, is housed in the Amicale staff library. It’s open certain lunchtimes during the week; check with Richard if you want to know more. The catalogue (at the moment incomplete) can be consulted on the Web.
